Snapshots
Snapshots capture your financial overview as of a particular date. This allows you to watch your net worth change over time.
You can only have one snapshot for a given date. You can create snapshots for any date but generally you would be doing this for the current date. Taking a snapshot for an older date might present an inaccurate picture if you own stocks as the prices will typically represent the most recent market prices.
Snapshots take quite some storage so it is recommended to take snapshots only at frequencies that truly matter to you. You could choose to take more frequent snapshots temporarily such as take them every week and then delete the weekly ones at the end of a month just retaining monthly snapshots.
Always ensure your market data is up to date before taking snapshot for the current date.
You can capture (create) a snapshot and delete an existing snapshot. You can't edit an existing snapshot.
