S8 Money currently supports integration with Open AI using BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) approach. To obtain an API key register at https://openai.com/api/. You can set up for a very small initial credit.

To make AI work on S8 Money, you need to add your key and choose a model. You can choose from the predefined list or just type a new one.

The gpt-4.1-mini model (default) seems to perform the best for transactions in terms of speed and cost but your experience may vary.

You can choose to not Save the API key when exporting data to a file by unchecking the "Save API key when exporting data to file" checkbox.
